2024-2025 Uniform Policy for students Pre-K to 8th Grade

Uniform Policy

PreK to 5th grade

SLACKS: Navy or khaki (no jeans/jeggings/leggings)

BERMUDA SHORTS: Navy or khaki (longer length only)

 

JUMPERS/DROP WAIST/DRESSES: Navy or khaki

 

SKIRTS or SKORTS (culottes): Navy or khaki

 

POLO SHIRTS: Navy or gold with the Kenwood crest (long-sleeved permitted for winter)

 

SHOES: All shoes must be closed-toe

 

SWEATER/JACKETS: Solid navy or gold; (no logos permitted) or Kenwood PTSO-approved sweatshirt

Uniform crests can be purchased through PTSO

6th to 8th grade

SLACKS: Navy or khaki (no jeans/shorts/skirts/jeggings/leggings)

POLO SHIRTS: Red or black with the Kenwood Crest (long-sleeved permitted for winter)

SHOES: All shoes must be closed-toe

 

SWEATER/JACKETS: Solid red or black (no logos permitted) or Kenwood PTSO-approved sweatshirt

 

IDENTIFICATION BADGES: Students must wear school-issued Identification Badges at all times while on school grounds

Uniform crests can be purchased through PTSO

K-8 Additional Policies

K-8 additional policies:

- No hoodies

- Jeans are not permitted

- Uniform shirts must be worn under all sweaters/jackets

- PTSO Spirit shirts and Official Club shirts can be worn on Fridays

- Items or articles of clothing that are determined by the school to be offensive and/or a distraction will NOT be permitted

Special Event Day policies:

The items stated below may not be worn unless approved by administration and clearly stated on scheduled activity flyer/announcement. 

Additionally, all clothing must be appropriate in length, coverage, and subject matter.                 

- No ripped jeans/jeggings/leggings

- No shorts

- No spaghetti straps

- No strapless

- No crop tops

- No halter tops

- No pajama pants/sweatpants/onesies

- No crocs/slippers/slides/open toe shoes

- Items or articles of clothing that are determined by the school to be offensive

   and/or a distraction will NOT be permitted
