Welcome to Kenwood K-8 Center! I am humbled, honored, and privileged to preside as the proud Principal of Kenwood. I am eager to serve this great community and excited to build positive relationships with the staff, students, and parents.

Achieving academic excellence for many consecutive years from the Florida Department of Education scale is a feat that is not easy with curricular standards continuously changing and increasingly rigorous state assessments. Just as impressive are the numerous accolades that Kenwood has received. This is a testament to the collective effort of the staff, students, and parents. It is my goal to build on Kenwood’s pursuit of excellence.

Although I understand change is difficult and can perhaps be uncomfortable, I embrace change as an opportunity to become more effective and valuable. And together, we will navigate the unchartered waters and embark upon a new school year with great enthusiasm, great anticipation and great uncertainty of new opportunities that will enhance our instructional program and school community as a whole. It’s going to be “Smooth Seas Ahead!”
